Current Offerings:
Winter 2008
Spring/Summer 2008

The Parish Life Directors and Pastors of the sponsoring parishes appreciate that mature faith is formed through life-long learning. They have pledged their enthusiasm, commitment, and resources to a program where adults can delve into and grapple with the content, values, and competencies of the Catholic Faith.

In fact, although a modest fee is charged to all who avail themselves of ACE-TV courses, members of ACE-TV parishes pay a discounted fee, since each participating parish pays many times that amount to sponsor persons who are registered parishioners.

All courses consist of 16 hours of instruction by very qualified and capable instructors. They are offered in Fall, Winter and Spring/Summer cycles each year and are held on different days, times and in various locations.

Current courses and information about them can be found in parish bulletins and on-line.

Your parish leadership is eager to make this investment in YOU to
grow in wisdom and in grace!

The cost for registered parishioners of the supporting parishes is $40. All other participants are very welcomed; their cost per course is $60.
Pre-registration is greatly appreciated—so that materials can be sent to participants and sufficient discounted books ordered! All are welcomed, and registration will be accepted at the first class; however, ‘last minute’ registration may result in having to wait for materials and texts to become available.

Six basic topics are addressed on a regular, rotating basis because they contribute to personal enrichment and spiritual development AND they apply toward catechist certification. They can be taken in either English or Spanish and can be taken in any order; however, two courses, Introduction to Theology and Catechetical Methods, are best taken toward the end of one’s program.
The six basic courses are:
Basic Catholic Beliefs Introduction to Church History
Introduction to the Scriptures Introduction to the Sacraments
Introduction to Theology Catechetical Methods
(choose from 3 catechetical settings)
Scheduled Offerings: Winter 2008
