Women of the Hebrew Scriptures The Rosary of Our Lives (Joyful Mysteries)
Scheduled Seminars
Spirituality of the Catechist I
What is spirituality? What does spirituality have to do with teaching? In this seminar, Jackie Hopper guides participants in examining where spirituality ‘occurs’ in the human person—in the integration of body, mind and spirit. Participants will explore their own personal preferences for learning about the world and find connections between the ‘multiple intelligence’ approach to teaching and appropriate and effective religious education.
Spirituality of the Catechist II
Like the disciples on the road to Emmaus, catechists and those engaged in other ministries in the Church begin their work with their “hearts burning” within them… but over time their passion for sharing the Good News may begin to fade. In this seminar, Participants will have an opportunity to reflect upon and articulate the vision for serving others that they are called to live out. Participants will discern in what areas they remain passionate about their vocations and explore in what areas they might want to rekindle the fire in order to recommit to live out their vision and mission.

Other Seminars    Interested in a seminar? Contact us to make arrangements.
Grant Writing for Non-Profit Organizations
Helpful for members of parish development committees, teachers, catechists, youth ministers, advisors to student organizations, and others whose ministry would be enhanced by external funding resources. This seminar will cover the basics of grant proposal submission from the inception of the idea through the award and acceptance process. Includes a sampling of  resources available for the novice grant writer and practical tips for each step of the way.
Women of the Hebrew Scriptures
The stories of Eve, Judith, Esther and Ruth—our sisters in faith—speak to us today! Explore their stories and the virtues with which they would wish to clothe us in our daily lives: wisdom, understanding, counsel and fortitude.
Liturgy of the Hours Workshop
Explanation of the history, elements and rhythm of the Prayer of the Church, for solo and group settings.  Simple chant melodies will be demonstrated.
